Skills & Jobs Investment Summit
The Skills & Jobs Investment Summit aims to be a catalyst for transforming the way industry and academia collaborate in South Africa. By addressing the skills gap head-on, the Summit will contribute to creating a workforce that is better prepared for the demands of the 21st-century economy and labour market, ensuring that South Africa remains competitive in a global marketplace.
The overarching goal of the summit is to facilitate collaboration between industry, higher education and TVET institutions, government, Sectoral and Education and Training Authorities (SETAs).
The Summit provides a platform for multi-stakeholders, leaders in business & academia to debate issues around critical skills shortages, review the efficacy of current academic programs, and explore strategies for creating a responsive and adaptive skills ecosystem.
The Skills & Jobs Investment Summit is organised by the Department of Higher Education (DHET), held at Johannesburg Business School, sponsored by Richfield and supported by the 23 members of the South African Business Schools Association (SABSA).
