Under the auspices of the  University Capacity Development Programme (UCDP) and with grant funding from the  Department of Higher Education and Training,  the Gordon Institute of Business Science (University of Pretoria), University of Limpopo and Birmingham Business School are partnering to offer a series of workshop to build research and supervisory capacity in South Africa academics.

This interactive and reflective two-day workshop will focus on:

• Research questions and research design.
• Research questions that lead to a qualitative design, quality measures and analysis.
• Research questions that lead to a quantitative design, quality measures and analysis and which questions are best served by mixed methods.
• Research philosophies and why they matter.
