Our Vision

To be a global architect in generating new knowledge and thought leadership so that member schools can be a catalyst for both transformative social change and economic prosperity.

What We Do

SABSA aims not only to strengthen ties with the business fraternity and the education sector as a whole but to improve the recognition of the organisation as a representative of SA business schools with government and regulatory bodies. SABSA’s twenty member business schools offer MBA or MBL programmes accredited by the South African Council on Higher Education (CHE) and are spread geographically around South Africa (many with satellite offices in major centres) offering full-time, part-time, modular or executive MBA programmes. All programmes accredited by the CHE can be offered, supported and assessed through virtual and online delivery and blended learning approaches. A broad range of Executive Education short courses are also offered as well as individually designed Corporate Executive Education programmes.

South African business schools are focussed on preparing managers for the country, the continent and the globe. As content focuses on the specific realities of business and management in the developing country context, this knowledge becomes a competitive advantage for students.
