About US – What We Do

SABSA aims to do two things. The first is to strengthen ties with the business fraternity and the education sector as a whole. The second is to improve the recognition of the organisation as a representative of SA business schools with government and regulatory bodies. SABSA’s twenty two member business schools offer MBA or MBL programs accredited by the South African Council on Higher Education (CHE) and are spread geographically around South Africa (many with satellite offices in major centres) offering full-time, part-time, modular or executive MBA programs. The schools can offer, support and assess All CHE accredited programs. They can do this through both virtual and online delivery and blended learning approaches. They also offer a broad range of Executive Education short courses, as well as individually designed Corporate Executive Education programs.

South African business schools prepare managers for the country, the continent and the globe. Business content focuses on the specific realities of business and management in the developing country context. Having this knowledge becomes a competitive advantage for students.
